The Chilcompton Society Flower Show takes place this Saturday, September 7, with classes to suit all ages and expertise.
Open to residents of Chilcompton and Stratton-on-the-Fosse, as well as anyone belonging to a Chilcompton group, there will be opportunities to show vegetables, flowers, arts, crafts and baking.
Children can enter a miniature garden, cookery, photos, handwriting or a treasured collection. Refreshments will be available all afternoon. The show opens at 2.15pm. at the village hall. It is hoped the day will see lots of entries, and visitors. Schedules from 01761 233142.
