Chief Inspector Ronnie Lungu accompanied Radstock Neighbourhood Team and British Transport Police (BTP) drugs team yesterday as they executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant in Radstock, arresting a 45-year-old man.
Avon and Somerset Police told The Journal: “At around 8.45am yesterday (Wednesday, 8th February), the Radstock Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at an address off Wells Road, in Radstock.
“Officers arrested a 45-year-old man on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A and class B drugs and on suspicion of money laundering.
“He has been released under investigation.
“Officers also seized a quantity of cocaine and cannabis, a mobile phone, cash and suspected stolen property as part of the warrant.
