Services were held in Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Westfield to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of D-Day.
The Midsomer Norton and Radstock Royal British Legion held wreath laying ceremonies in Midsomer Norton, Radstock and Westfield - the three primary locations of the Branch - on Thursday, June 6.
The branch was on parade at Radstock War Memorial at 10am, Midsomer Norton War Memorial at 11am and Westfield at 2pm.
School children lay crosses, a two-minutes’ silence was observed and the Last Post was played out by Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band’s Trevor Curtis.
