TWO men have been taken to hospital following a three-car crash which closed Keynsham Bypass this morning (January 6).
Emergency services attended the the scene and police closed the road westbound between Broadmead and Hicks Gate roundabouts shortly after 7.35am.
Motorists were urged to avoid the scene but the road has since been reopened.
A spokesperson from Avon and Somerset police said “We were called at 7.35am today to a report of a collision involving three vehicles on the Keynsham Bypass, near the Broadmead Roundabout.
“Emergency services attended and officers closed the westbound Keynsham Bypass between the Broadmead and Hicks Gate roundabouts. The road has since reopened.
“Two men were taken to hospital for treatment, one of whom suffered injuries believed to be potentially life-changing, but not life-threatening.
“If you witnessed the collision, which involved a Land Rover Defender, a Kia Niro and a black Ford Fiesta, or have any dashcam footage of it, please call 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5225003862.”
