The Rotary Club of Midsomer Norton & Radstock paid tribute to Scotland’s own ‘National Bard’, Robert Burns, at a Burn’s Night hosted by The Old Down Inn, Emborough.
The evening included a classic combination of haggis with neeps and tatties, reciting of poetry, and a warming dram. The haggis was piped-in followed by landlady Maxine McCluskey presenting the haggis on a platter.
Midsomer Norton Mayor, Gordon Mackay was the guest of honour and wonderfully performed the ode, Address to a Haggis.
