What a colourful time of the year it is, the trees are turning lovely shades of red and orange, a fitting end to a very difficult year.
The Silver Street Nature Reserve has its share of trees so don’t forget to look for the different colours when you are out walking and enjoy the spectacle until leaf fall.
You will notice that the meadow has been cut, the grass has had its annual haircut! A very neat job has been done and we thank the Town Council for awarding us a grant towards the cost of it, the remainder coming from members subscriptions, so thank you to all who have helped.
We can only hope for a wet autumn and winter to make up for the drought of past months.
