Bath and North East Somerset's motorists will have three road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

But drivers will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

A36, from 6pm April 11 to 11.59pm April 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Limpley Stoke, traffic lights installed by Wales and West.

A36, from 6am March 1 to 6am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both direction Limpley Stoke, two-way traffic lights for carriageway works.

And one more closure will begin over the next two weeks:

A36, from 9.30am to 3pm on April 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Pipehouse, multiway traffic lights installed by Wales and West.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
