THE Bath Christmas Market will return this November featuring a record number of traders and offering an expanded selection of stalls and products for visitors to enjoy.

The market will run from November 28 to December 15 with 230 traders, 85 percent of whom are based in the South West, offering a variety of food, drink, and gifts

A total of 80 traders will be attending for the first time, with 40 percent of the businesses signed up based in Bath and the surrounding areas.

Local micro-businesses will have access to dedicated Christmas Carts at reduced rates, and 36 community groups will participate for free in two community chalets located in Milsom Street and the Guildhall.

Festive food and drink suitable for many dietary requirements, including gluten free and vegan options, will be offered by 20 catering stalls. A full list of stallholders can be found at https://bathchristmasmarket.co.uk/stallholders.

Results from an independent survey showed the 2023 Bath Christmas Market boosted the economy by an estimated £47 million in associated additional spend, up from £34.3 million in 2022 and £25 million in 2019.

Councillor Paul Roper, cabinet member for Economic and Cultural Sustainable Development, said: “Bath Christmas Market is the highlight of our Christmas calendar and creates such a buzz in the city, having been visited by more than 450,000 people last year.”
