Residents in the Somer Valley are invited to listen to the discussion about what’s happening in their community at the next Area Forum meeting on February 27th.
The theme for the online meeting is health and wellbeing and the Forum will hear from Nik Aplin, the RUH’s Frailty Nurse, Helen Harris, Manager of the Three Valleys Health Primary Care Network and Avon Fire and Rescue on their home safety visits. There will also be an update on the Active Way project.
The meeting will also be joined by the police’s new beat manager for Westfield, PC Paul Sheppard, and beat manager for Midsomer Norton, PC Mark Graham, operational duties permitting.

Lynda Robertson, Chair of the Somer Valley Area Forum, said: “This is the Forum’s first meeting of 2024 and we’re looking forward to receiving the latest news from local health care providers. Forum meetings are open to the public and we would be delighted to welcome any interested residents. They will have an opportunity to ask questions, give their views or just listen.”
