Midsomer Norton Town Council has come up with a savvy new way to manage the Mayor’s numerous appearance requests.
The mayor of Midsomer Norton receives attendance requests for a number of events around Midsomer Norton, to assist with handing out awards, supporting an event, opening a shop, or merely visiting a venue.
To cope with demand and manage the mayor’s calendar, the town council have developed an online booking form to make the process easier. The new form can be found on the town council’s website; either click ‘The Mayor’ under the ‘town council’ section of the top dropdown menu, or follow the link: https://msn-tc.gov.uk/the-mayor/
Sadly, the Mayor is not able to accept all requests as he has a full-time job, but he is keen to support local community groups and organisations as well as he is able.
The form is designed to capture as much information as possible at the outset so that any request can be considered and responded to quickly. If the Mayor is unable to attend an event, then the Deputy Mayor could also consider attending events.
Midsomer Norton Town Council said: “Visit our website now to explore the brand-new Mayoral booking form. We look forward to hearing from you.”
