Second Paulton Brownies enjoyed a fabulous coronation party last Thursday to celebrate King Charles III becoming King. The Brownies all made crowns and celebration wreath and enjoyed a lovey tea. The week before the children had made a card to send to the new King and Queen decorated in pictures of themselves. The Brownies were all luckily enough to have been gifted a coronation mug by Maxem eyewear based in Westfield and went home with their mugs some sweet treats from Treats with a Twist and the official Girl Guiding coronation badge. We would like to thank Maxem eyewear for their kindness and to all those who helped fund the evening. The evening came to an end with Brownies and Leaders renewing their Promise to serve the King.
