Chew Stoke WI: We have had a busy summer! In June, we had an enlightening talk on Criminology by Natasha Mulvihill.
Part of her work involved ideas to improve communication between the police and victims of sexual assault by offering more privacy during interviews and a fuller understanding of cultural differences.
On a very hot day, later in the month, several members opened their gardens in this very social and successful village event, whilst others manned the Village Hall, serving teas on a busy afternoon.
