People living in and around Peasedown St John are being invited to a special Christmas Carol Service to celebrate the festive season.

Not only that, St John’s Church is encouraging residents to attend by hand delivering a copy of the carol booklet to every single home in advance!

“We want villagers to know that they are welcome to join us this Christmas time,” said Revd Matthew Street, “We’re arranging for every household to receive a copy of the carol sheet in advance. That way they can dust off their vocal cobwebs at home and join us for some festival fun at St John’s Church.”

The Christmas Carol Booklet will be delivered to every home with a BA2 8 postcode over the next week. It includes a selection of carols and photos taken around Peasedown St John that have been linked to the Christmas Nativity story.

“With thousands of Christmas carol song sheets being delivered to local homes, we know this year’s carol service is going to be one to remember!”, added Matthew.

St John’s Church, Peasedown, will hold their ‘Come and Sing the Christmas Story’ event on Wednesday 20th December, 7.30pm at St John’s Church, Church Road, BA2 8AA.
