As has become the custom in recent years, the village of Stanton Drew was filled with Morris dancers and spectators on the evening of the summer solstice.

This year's event was organised by Rag Morris, from Bristol, whose claim to fame is that they appeared at the opening ceremony for the London Olympics in 2012.

They were joined outside the Druids Arms, where they were made most welcome, by Pigsty Morris, also from Bristol, Somerset Morris and The Bounds of Selwood, a new group from Frome.

Later, everyone moved up to the standing stones, where Rag Morris performed one last, evocative dance as the sun went down.
