The group met up on 17th April for a Coronation themed evening of fun with tiaras, crowns and other regal headwear worn by all the ladies and the hall was decorated with bunting.

After a short section devoted to the monthly meeting agenda, there was then quite a hush as the ladies set about decorating eggs, in keeping with the up-and-coming crowning event.

Supper then followed which featured, of course Coronation Chicken, sandwiches, scones, cupcakes and other nibbles provided by the committee. We also toasted our new King with a glass or two of Pimm’s.

The next meeting will be the AGM, held on the 15th May, 7pm, followed by another social event. This meeting is a week later than usual due to the Bank Holiday.
