Wellsway School are celebrating the achievements of their 2017 Sixth Form students, who have made “significant progress” from their Year 12 AS exams.
Principal Matthew Woodville, said: “We are delighted with the achievements of our Sixth Form students. These results mean that this talented group of young people will go on to pursue their ambitions in the work place, at universities and colleges, or in apprenticeships and other training courses. We wish them every success for the future.”
Congratulations to the following students who have achieved outstanding individual successes at A-Level or their Level 3 equivalent:
James Kay – 4 A* grades
Holly Bainbridge – 3 A*s and 1 A
Will Singleton – 3 A*s
Harry Roach – 2 A*s and 2 As
Jazz Hennessey, Harriet Prescott and Callum Nicholls – 2 A*s and 1 A
Laura Durant – 1 A* and 2 As
Jess Crabbe – 3 As,
Tara Holloway – 1 A* and a triple Distinction*
Imogen Bragg, Ruby Britton, Sofia Damon, Liberty Groves, Tiegen Millen and Isobel Taylor – triple Distinction*s.
A special mention must also go to Andrew Dubois, who achieved an A* in his A-level Maths despite only being in Year 10.
Mr Woodville added: “We are proud of all of our students, and feel honoured to have had this Year 13 group learning with us – as individuals and collectively. We look forward to hearing of their further successes and achievements in the future.”
