iPad for Wellbeing is a new four week run class by Wellbeing Courses, in a new location at Paulton Hospital. Build confidence using your iPad and improve your wellbeing at the same time.
Users will look at how to find free resources and information to help improve wellbeing, physical and mental health, such as tools to de-stress, recipes to suit your diet, plus finding advice, activities and groups near you. Users will learn how to search the internet effectively, save favourite websites, use Podcasts, YouTube, download Apps and look at ways to evaluate the information found and how to stay safe online.
This course is aimed at those over 50 years old or who don’t mind going slowly - nervous and anxious people very welcome. Learning will be at a relaxed pace with a refreshment break and time to share the resources we find useful. Increase your wellbeing by learning new skills and meeting people in a friendly, relaxed and patient environment.
You will need to bring your own iPad that is set up and ready to use. To be eligible you need to live in B&NES or be registered with a GP in B&NES.
Course starts Friday 3rd November 10 am – 12 pm in the Turner Room, Paulton Hospital, BS39 7SB
