On Tuesday, 27th February, Norton Hill School was once again host to a group of teachers from across Europe as part of the Erasmus+ programme.
Teachers from Germany and Malta spent the day working with teachers from the ICT, Politics, Business and Outdoor education departments, with some also spending time working with the senior leadership within the school.
The aim of the day was for teachers on both sides to share expertise and best practice to help improve their schools. Feedback from the European teachers was positive. They were particularly impressed with the Computing and ICT teaching on offer, the extracurricular opportunities offered to students across all ages, the positive learning environment created and the politeness the students.
Sophie Davis, lead teacher for international education, said: “Once again, the day was extremely positive for both Norton Hill staff and the European teachers. Hopefully the links formed on the day will lead to some exciting partnerships with our European counterparts going forward.”
