Paulton Infant School, (part of The Partnership Trust) secured a positive outcome in their recent Ofsted Inspection that has been published on the Ofsted website. The report details that the school has a caring and supportive ethos and ‘provides a safe space for pupils to thrive’.

They liked the ‘positive culture’ and that it is an ‘inclusive and welcoming school’.

The inspectors go on to share that there is a culture of high expectations of all pupils and a ‘strong, mutual respect between staff and pupils’. Emily Omell, Head Teacher since September 2021, is thrilled by this outcome and says: “I am extremely pleased that Ofsted has recognised that the children who attend Paulton Infant school thrive in a friendly, safe, effective and inclusive learning environment. Our dedicated school community work extremely hard so that children achieve their best possible outcome. It is lovely for them to feel that all of their hard work has been recognised publicly.’ Emily also highlights that Ofsted have identified that the school has:

· An 'ambitious curriculum'

· an Early Years provision that provides 'secure strong foundations for their future learning'

· 'High Level of subject expertise' (among teachers)

· provision for 'Pupils with SEND' who 'benefit from strong care and support'

· the ability to ensure that 'Pupils behave well' due to 'established clear routines'

· a focus on 'Pupils wider development' and that it 'is highly valued'
