Paulton Parish Council (PPC) is putting on a very special Christmas event, the likes of which Paulton has never been seen before, writes Anne Lyons, Paulton parish councillor

The event will be held in the Memorial Park, It’s tennis court and basketball areas as well as the Village Hall and its car park.

Besides being held in a different area of the village, and it being a whole lot bigger than previous years, it’s also going to be held over two days. We will be open on Friday, November 29 from 5pm to 10pm and on Saturday, November 30 from midday to 8pm.

There will be a large skating rink, a fully licensed bar, a variety of market stalls, a music area, a street food market and of course Santa’s grotto.

The street food market will be open on both days of the event. We’ve got some fabulously delicious food. There is something for everyone.

In addition to all the wonderful winter attractions, food and drink, there will be a wide selection of items for sale at our Christmas market.

If you are interested in having a stall, please contact: [email protected]

Santa Claus in his grotto will be available for the little ones to visit in the village hall. If children are well behaved, they may get a goodie bag!

There will be live performances from bell ringers, Paulton Concert Band, the church band, and the Paulton Amateur Dramatic Society (PADS) will be treating us to some carol singing.
