Valley Arts has a superb line-up of shows this month including ‘Beautiful, Evil Things’ from award-winning theatre company Ad Infinitum. Winning rave reviews after a sell-out run at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, this high-energy, one-woman show combines physical storytelling with cutthroat wit.

Performing at The Old School Rooms in Chew Magna on Friday, May 17, ‘Beautiful, Evil Things’ is a must-see for Valley culture vultures.

Back by popular demand, The Bristol Ensemble returns with the wonderful nature-inspired music of Einaudi and Vaughan Williams on Saturday, May 11 in St. Andrew’s Church, Chew Magna. They will be performing ‘The Lark Ascending - a classical piece capturing the character of the English countryside.

Meanwhile, Open Mic at The Pony in Chew Magna continues on Tuesday, May 21, with new singers and performers welcome to do a ten-minute set in front of a supportive audience. This is a popular night and a great environment to get up on stage with local musical talent.
