LOCAL families are invited to ‘glow up’ for Royal United Hospitals Bath (RUH) at the brand-new family friendly Glow Run event this Autumn.
Organised by RUHX, the official hospital charity of the Royal United Hospital (RUH), the Glow Run is an accessible 3km event taking place on October 25 from 6pm to 8pm at Odd Down Sports Ground in Bath. It is suitable for all ages and abilities.
The 3km follows two laps of the cycle track at Odd Down Sports Ground, with lights marking the way. Children and families can choose to walk or run, with the route also suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and buggies.
On the night of the Glow Run, activities will include a group warm-up, face painting, and light-up accessories. Participants are encouraged to wear fancy dress or neon outfits and to bring a torch.
Ellie Wilkinson, events and community officer at RUHX said: “The Glow Run is a brilliant opportunity for local families to get active, have fun, and help to change lives at the RUH.”
The event is sponsored by Freestyle Designs in Bath, who have supported the charity for several years.
