‘RISING Waters’ is an ambitious and dynamic community project taking place this summer. Valley Arts are gathering stories from local people around the creation of Chew Valley Lake and other water inspired memories.
What does the lake mean to you? What is magic about living in this area? Do you have any memories inspired by water? What does the future look like as we confront the climate emergency?
We are looking for stories - real or imagined - about the Valley that could form part of a community performance. These could also include photos, artworks, articles or recordings from people who were here before the lake was flooded in the 1950s, those who are new to the area and everyone in between.
Please get in touch with us to take part! Email us on [email protected].
