New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Bath and North East Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Casa De Tapas Limited at 18 York Street, City Centre, Bath, Bath And North East Somerset; rated on January 30

• Rated 5: Pavilion Cafe at Cafe, School Of Management, University Of Bath Campus, Claverton Down; rated on January 28

• Rated 5: The Village Cafe & Bar Larkhall at The Village Cafe, 3 - 4 St Saviour'S Road, Larkhall, Bath; rated on January 28

• Rated 4: Root Spice Limited at 15 Argyle Street, Bathwick, Bath, Bath And North East Somerset; rated on February 5
