New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to four of Bath and North East Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: JI Chickens at Ji Chickens, 16 Kingsmead Square, City Centre, Bath; rated on February 28

• Rated 3: Nata & Co Portuguese Bakery Limited at Ground Floor Shop, 8 Bridge Street, City Centre, Bath; rated on February 28

• Rated 3: Chew Valley Raj at Stoke Inn, Bristol Road, Chew Stoke, Bristol; rated on February 26

• Rated 1: Cheong Sing Chinese Takeaway at Cheong Sing, 26 Moorland Road, Oldfield Park, Bath; rated on February 27

It means that of Bath and North East Somerset's 389 similar establishments with ratings, 232 (60%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
