New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to three of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: Aquila at 33 Orchard Street, Weston-Super-Mare; rated on August 29

• Rated 3: Mary's Wine & Tapas Restaurant at 36-38 Hill Road, Clevedon; rated on August 29

• Rated 2: Worle Spice at 133 High Street, Worle, Weston-Super-Mare; rated on August 29

It means that of North Somerset's 297 similar establishments with ratings, 216 (73%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
