New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s pubs, bars or nightclubs, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Albion (The), at 15 Bristol Road, Portishead, Bristol North Somerset was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 25.

And Stag and Hounds, at Bristol Road, Churchill, Winscombe was given a score of two on September 25.

It means that of North Somerset's 205 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 139 (68%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
