New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Red Rose, at 25 Old Church Road, Clevedon, North Somerset was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 1.

And Boulevard Thai Restaurant, at 25-31 Boulevard, Weston-Super-Mare was given a score of one on September 1.

It means that of North Somerset's 262 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 186 (71%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
