New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Khao Thai Cafe, at 24 West Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 5.

And Scotty's Tapas, at 45 Oxford Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset was given a score of one on November 5.

It means that of North Somerset's 296 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 221 (75%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
