New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Animal Farm Adventure Park (Restaurant/Cafe), at Animal Farm Country Park, Red Road, Berrow was handed a three-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 25.

And Bird in Hand Inn, at The Bird In Hand Inn, 34 Mount Street, Bishops Lydeard, Taunton was also given a score of three on April 25.

It means that of Somerset's 976 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 803 (82%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
