New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of North Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Alfresco Cucini Italiana, at 64 Main Road, Cleeve, Bristol was handed a two-out-of-five rating after assessment on April 10.

And Cadbury Garden Centre, at Smallway, Congresbury, Bristol was also given a score of two on April 9.

It means that of North Somerset's 289 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 208 (72%) have ratings of five and just one has a zero rating.
