Somer Valley foodbank is requesting the following items, which the foodbank is in need of this month: Coffee, fruit juice, fruit (tinned), instant mash, milk powder, squash, ketchup, pot noodles, savoury rice, pasta in sauce.

Non-food items: Toothbrushes (adult and child), kitchen roll, carrier bags, deodorant for men, washing up liquid, multipurpose cleaner, sanitary towels (not tampons).

A spokesperson said: “Please no cash donations with the food items. Very many thanks for your ongoing generosity.”

Drop-off points: All churches Sunday AM just before or after a service; Salvation Army Hall, Midsomer Norton Mondays 10 – 11am; The Hive, Peasedown weekdays Through main doors, by the door to the Post Office; St Nicholas Church Centre Radstock, weekdays 9 – 3pm in the foyer.
