Can we use your letters page to thank the people who attended our talk on Osteoporosis last month, and also those who left feedback and further questions. 

It is not generally known that 20% of men and 50% of women suffer from Osteoporosis, which I found a quite alarming figure.

Our speaker, Janet Colley, was anxious to stress how helpful the Royal Osteoporosis Society Helpline can be. It is staffed by Specialist Nurses during office hours, so if people do have further questions, please do not hesitate to ring them on 0808 800 0035.
