It was a joy to welcome so many people through the Church doors of St John the Baptist, Midsomer Norton, to celebrate Advent Sunday.

A service of carols and readings in a candlelit Church, reminded us of the wonderful promise from God, that He would send His only son into the world, to be born to a virgin named Mary.

We look forward to celebrating Jesus’ birth at Christmas with a Carol Service on 18th December at 6pm. Children’s Crib Service on the 24th at 4pm with Midnight Mass at 11.30pm. Christmas Day Eucharist 8am and Sung Eucharist at 10am.

Thank you to all who visited the St John’s Church Fayre. It was a lovely occasion with lots of goods for sale and great refreshments. Above all, it was an opportunity to talk to people we may not have met up with for a while or even for the first time!

Please remember, the Church of St John the Baptist Midsomer Norton, belongs to everyone whether for worship, joining a group or just to pop in for a cup of ‘Coffee and Chat’ on Tuesday mornings from 10.15am.
