The members of Farmborough Floral Art Group have been busy raising money to help the family of Zoe and Gareth Copps.
Zoe and Gareth have two severely disabled boys, William and Lewis. Ann Bevan, Chairman, made friends with Zoe on Facebook and made it her mission to help them.
In January, the group purchased a much-needed washing machine. In May, Ann held a coffee morning at her home, raising a further £375, and Doreen Cole, Vice-President, made and sold greeting cards. Together with numerous donations, Farmborough were able to donate a further £650.
With this Zoe and Gareth have purchased a large screen for the boys. Doreen and Ann visited the family and presented the cheque to them. Ann says it was a delight to meet the boys and their amazing, caring, devoted parents.
Fundraising will continue during 2019, to help the family enjoy days out together and make precious memories with their beautiful boys.
Ann would like to thank all members and friends for their generous support. Zoe and Gareth would like to send their huge appreciation to Farmborough members and everyone who contributed to their big screen.
