New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to five restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Ilchester Arms Hotel at The Square, Church Street, Ilchester, Somerset; rated on January 7

• Rated 5: Costa Coffee at Unit 3, Enterprise Park, Jordans Road; rated on January 6

• Rated 5: ABP Langport Uk (Staff Canteen) at Muchelney Road, Huish Episcopi, Langport Somerset; rated on January 2
