New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Carousel Sweets & Treats, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at The Cliffs, Cheddar was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 29.

And Kebab Kitchen, a takeaway at 48 High Street, Burnham On Sea was also given a score of five on October 13.
