New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s restaurants, cafes or canteens, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Coffee #1, at 72 High Street, Street, Somerset was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on November 12.

And Starbucks Coffee, at Sainsbury Supermarket, Gravenchon Way, Street, Somerset was also given a score of five on November 12.

It means that of Somerset's 1,008 restaurants, cafes and canteens with ratings, 844 (84%) have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
