New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Chubby vegans, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at The Iron Gates, 9 King Street, Frome was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on September 26.

And Subway, a takeaway at 21 High Street, Burnham On Sea was also given a score of five on March 5.
