New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 14 of North Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Clevedon Pier Cafe at Clevedon Pier, Marine Parade, Clevedon; rated on May 29

• Rated 5: Costa Coffee at Unit 2 Block 1, Portishead Marina, Portishead; rated on May 29

• Rated 5: Stage Door Restaurant at 134 High Street, Weston-Super-Mare, North Somerset; rated on May 29

• Rated 5: Ashton Court Courtyard Cafe at Ashton Court, Long Ashton, Bristol; rated on May 21
