New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them both.

Kitchen @ Quantock Lakes, a restaurant, cafe or canteen at Inwood Farm, Cannington Road, Nether Stowey was handed a five-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 21.

And Golden Pond, a takeaway at Unit 5 Stockmoor Shopping Centre, Nokoto Drive, Bridgwater was also given a score of five on March 21.
