Are you looking to get a project for Frome off the ground but just can’t find the funding for it?
Frome Town Council’s Grants Committee may be able to help, as the next round of applications for Community Grants is now open.
The fund is available for applications of up to £3,000 from groups or organisations who can demonstrate how their project will support the council’s ambition “to build a town that is environmentally sustainable, inclusive, and prosperous with a community that is more resilient, happier, and better able to shape its own future.”
Chair of the grants committee, Councillor Andy Jones, said: “This Grants round is closing on Monday, September 28, so there’s plenty of time to submit your application.
“If you think that your project will have a direct and positive impact on Frome and its residents, we encourage you to apply for funding.”
The Community Grants Committee supports a wide variety of projects and initiatives and recent successful applications have included Frome Families for the Future’s Reconnecting with Rodden Riverside project, a young people’s wellbeing café with Focus Frome and Frome Birth Talk’s baby loss support group.
