Alex is responsible for organisation of a vast range of community projects including the Midsomer Norton Men’s Shed and Norton Youth Club. He has also developed and managed the Midsomer Norton Community Cinema which brought new release cinema back to the area for the first time in twenty five years.
The Trust oversees the day to day management of various community buildings within the town, including the Town Hall and Orchard Hall. These buildings provide a range of spaces that are home to approximately one hundred of the town’s community groups.
Rotary member, Ian Huxham, thanked Alex for such an informative presentation and went on to say: “These community buildings are a true asset to our area and we are extremely fortunate to have someone like Alex to oversee the day to day running of these buildings, which provide a centre for so many groups, projects and charities.”
