Moths are the topic for our September meeting. Colin Higgs, aka Higgy, will be telling us all about these creatures, their importance to pollination and what plants to grow to attract them to your garden.
Our July speaker, Sally Morgan, author of the book Climate Change Gardening, gave an excellent presentation. There is no doubt that the world is experiencing significant weather changing patterns and Sally’s talk was packed with information and suggestions on how we can all play a part in slowing down the changes.
So back to this month, do come and meet Higgy. Learn about the moth’s role in nature and be astonished by their beauty!
We meet at Ston Easton Village Hall, Green Street, Ston Easton BA3 4DA. The next meeting will be on Wednesday, September 20th. The hall will be open from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Refreshments will be available.
Higgy will be bringing an array of nature related items for sale.
A warm welcome awaits members and visitors alike.
