Midsomer Norton Town Council are meeting this evening (Monday 15th May) at 7 PM.
The mayor will be elected during this meeting.

The new election of a new Mayor and Deputy Mayor was the first item on the agenda.
- The former Mayor, Lynda Robertson, handed over the reigns to new Mayor, Gordon Mackay.
- The Deputy Mayor has been decided as Martyn Plant.
- Gordon thanked Lynda for all her hard work over the past three years as Mayor.
- The new Mayor also thanked the old Councillors who stood down after long terms on the Town Council.
