Lloyds and Halifax banks, owned by Lloyds Banking Group, have announced closures of a further forty branches across the UK.

Following closures announced by other banks last year, including Frome's HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group's announcement tallies the UK at 200 branches closing down in the coming months.

B&NES and North East Somerset look to be safe from bank closures this month, but Frome's HSBC will be closing its doors in June, as reported in December 2022.
