As part of the Midsomer Norton Community Trust's events to help tackle the Cost-of-Living crisis, the team are running an event at the Orchard Hall in Midsomer Norton for local households who would like a free, sit down, hot meal on a Sunday.
The event is being run by volunteers, led by local chef Andrew Norris. Attendees will have the choice between a steak and root vegetable pie or a vegetable and bean cassoulet with coconut and ginger as the vegetarian option. Both served with a puff pastry top, green beans and broccoli. For dessert there's sticky toffee pudding with custard.
It has been made possible due to the support of the National Grid Community Matters Fund and Arthur David. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. No questions will be asked about needs or requirements.
The first 'Orchard Kitchen' event will take place on Sunday 26th February. You can book your spot now by clicking here.
