Family-owned Bridges Electrical Engineers has celebrated its fortieth anniversary with a party for its loyal staff and a £10,400 donation to WaterAid.

The mechanical and electrical company, based at Westfield Industrial Estate and which has office locations in Exeter, Bath, Romsey and Maidstone and employs 125 staff, was established by Mr John Bridges back in 1973.

The business specialises in mechanical and electrical installations, along with the design and manufacture of control panels specifically for the water industry. Bridges has a long-established association with WaterAid, its nominated charity, and has carried out various fundraising activities throughout the year to raise the much-needed donation.
