A MAN in his 20s has suffered potentially life-changing injuries following a moped and van crash in Banwell.
He remains in hospital following the incident which happened in Wolvershill Road, Banwell, at around 7.10am on Tuesday, August 20.
Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the road was closed for several hours in both directions from the roundabout with Derek Mead Way to West Street.
Police said in a short statement: “The rider of the moped - a man in his 20s - has injuries currently described as potentially life-changing. His family are aware.
“Officers have now spoken with the driver of a white vehicle who was sought as a possible witness”
