Kenneth Williams’ character, Arthur Fallowfield, famously said: “The answer lies in the soil” and though spoken in jest, there is a great deal of truth in this!

Come along to Ston Easton Gardening Club and hear Clem Maidment explain all. His illustrated talk, on plants and soil association will cover garden and wildflowers.

Our speaker last month, Gill Hazell, gave a fantastic talk on sowing and growing sweet peas. Gill lead us through, step by step, leaving everyone determined to give it a try. Gill’s presentation ended with lovely photographs of her beautiful prize winning flowers.

So, back to this month’s meeting, come and meet Clem on Wednesday 15th March at Ston Easton village hall BA3 4DA.

The hall will be open from 7pm ready for a 7.30 start. Refreshments available.
